Before

Challenge:

  • Worood traffic dropped dramatically when Sweidi & Ghornata opened.
  • Sweidi store location & product mix were its core issues.

Solution:

  • Revisited distribution plans to cover the surrounding areas for each store
  • Have the surrounding people get used to the closest store nearby
  • This results in a saturated traffic for each store
  • Design specific flyers for each store with specific offers and incentives
  • Since Ghornata is surrounded by compounds, special services were offered such as busing to the stores, delivery to the compound, incentives to the people living in compounds nearby.
  • Did some swapping inside the store whereby expensive products are not placed at the entrance.

After

Result:

Traffic of Worood is back to its normal stages, and the traffic of Sweidi picked up as well
